US Forest Service Visitors' Center: Tours and information. Located one block back from the cruise ship dock, by the Logging Show, south end of downtown (2 story blue/green building).

Carrs'/Safeway: 1 mile North on North Tongass at the Plaza Mall, Liquor available
Newtown Liquor: 1 mile North on North Tongass at the Plaza Mall (not part of Safeway)
Alaskan and Proud Market (A&P): Two miles north on North Tongass. Captain's Keg Liquor store next door.

Thomas Wash Basin: 225-WASH Coin Laundry/Showers/Espresso Bar. 124 Thomas St. Top of ramp at Float 4 next to Potlatch Bar. Will also do laundry for $1.40 per pound. Pick up and delivery available.
The Mat/Cleaners: 225 - 0628, two locations 1 block south (R side) on Stedman for Dry Cleaners. 5 blocks south (L side) on Stedman for coin laundry/showers. Will do laundry for $1.50 per pound. Pick up and delivery available.

Transportation Services
Borough Bus Service: Bus schedules are located in the clubhouse. There are 3 routes (red, green and blue). Red Line runs from City Library to Fawn Mountain School, passing Saxman Totem Park and The Village Store. Green runs the city route to Shoreline (and Wal-Mart) and Blue Line runs from City Library to Totem Bight State Park (and Wal-Mart).
