Steak Night This Friday Night

Hi ya’ll!  Steak night is here again, with Al Rockwood, Don Mitchel, and Marvin & Lani Davis scheduled as hosts.  To make planning easier, we really appreciate an RSVP by Thursday night, with number of members attending from your party.  This makes planning the purchases easier, with less waste, fresher food, and to insure the no one goes away hungry!  Just send a message to (yes, you should just be able to click on that to respond), we’ll count noses, or if two people want to share one steak, let us know that too, we’ll count that as 1/2 nose each.

If you have any recommendations, suggestions, comments, or grumbles, let us know and we’ll see if we can make it better.  Grill will be hot at 5:30 pm, a mix of rib and new york steaks, and a few chicken breasts for non-redmeat eaters.  As always, this dinner is a mix of snacks, salads, potatos, veg, onions, mushrooms, dessert, with a BYOB if needed.  Coffee and water free as always.

St. Pat’s Corned Beef Benefit FCCC

A good time was enjoyed by a dedicated group of corned beef gourmands, which was accompanied by libations, salads, cookies, biscuits, and so much more. Our great kitchen crew, led by Judith, prepared, served and cleaned up, with the nearly empty pot of corn beef liquid proof of how good it all was. This fund raiser supported the $1000 check made out to First City Council on Cancer, a locally grown organization helping with local cancer expenses.
Thanks to participating members for the turnout!
