flag_commodoreMeeting Times

For the past two months the monthly potluck and membership meetings have started somewhat earlier than usual.  The consensus of folks present at the November 5th meeting was that the earlier time is more convenient and allows more time to conduct meeting business.

Therefore, the commodore has changed the normal potluck time to 6:00 p.m., and the regular membership meetings will start at 7:00 p.m.  This posting on the website is the notification to membership as required by KYC bylaws.

For those interested, here is the applicable paragraph from the bylaws:

VII. MEETINGS

1. DATE. Regular meetings shall be held the first Tuesday of each month beginning in September and continuing through May, at which time they will terminate for the summer. Trustees meetings shall be held at a regular time on a monthly basis determined by the newly elected Trustees following the Annual Meeting.

2. TIME. Regular meetings shall be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Ketchikan Yacht Club clubhouse.

3. CHANGES. Any change of time or place of regular meeting shall require a 30 day advance notice to the Membership.
