Ketchikan Yacht Club provides many social opportunities throughout the year.  Steak Night and Burger Night, described below, are our anchor nights. We usually have an Opening Day in May Pig Roast, End of Season BBQ in September, St. Paddy’s Day Donation to FCCC, Turkey Day Flotilla, Mother’s Day Flotilla, New Year’s Day Breakfast, Super Bowl Party and whatever other excuse we think up to have fun.

Friday Steak Nights

Winter Season: September thru May – 3rd Friday of each month:

Yacht Club members and guests please join us during the winter season for our Friday Steak Nights. The fun starts at 6:00 p.m. at the clubhouse.

  • The grill will be hot at 6pm.
  • We will have New York Steaks, Rib Eyes or chicken breasts.
  • Baked potato, salad and a desert are all included.
  • Please bring your own favorite beverage.

Friday Hamburger Nights

Summer Season: June thru August – every Friday night:

Yacht Club members and guests are invited to come to the clubhouse after work on Friday to grill their own burgers and feast on other potluck dishes, snacks and drinks.  The KYC supplies hand- pressed fresh-ground sirloin burgers with all of the fixin’s.

Friday Hamburger Nights, a KYC tradition, began years ago to encourage KYC members to have a quick dinner before hitting the water for the weekend.  It quickly evolved into the popular Friday evening social event that we enjoy today.  Whether your goal is to have a quick dinner and head out on the water, or spend all evening visiting on the dock, come on by for a good time.
